May Home Tips, Local Events & Important Scheduling Update from the McCray Team
This month, we’re sharing a few things we’ve been seeing out in the field, a simple tip that could save you from a bigger issue, and some local events if you’re looking for something fun to do.
We also want to give you a quick heads-up on our upcoming schedule:
McCray & Sons Home Services will be temporarily closed from Monday, May 11th through Friday, May 15th, and we will return to normal business hours on Monday, May 18th.
If you’ve been thinking about scheduling a repair or project, we recommend reaching out sooner rather than later, as our schedule is filling up quickly before and after that week.
As always, we appreciate you supporting our local, family-run business.

Where Is Your Main Water Shutoff? (And Why You Should Check It Before an Emergency)

Most homeowners don’t think about their main water shutoff until something goes wrong. A pipe bursts, a supply line fails, or water starts leaking where it shouldn’t. In those moments, every minute matters.
Knowing how to shut off your water quickly can prevent significant damage to your home. The problem is, many homeowners either don’t know where their shutoff is, or they’ve never tested it.
