The homeowner had already picked out their new setup — a Kohler Verse double-bowl, top-mount stainless steel sink, and a matching Kohler Vibrant Stainless pull-down faucet. Sleek. Clean. Timeless.
It was a like-for-like replacement, so no countertop modifications were needed — but there was one little surprise: the new sink didn’t come with a pre-cut hole for the dishwasher air gap.
No problem. Our team grabbed the right metal drill bit, carefully bored a smooth, perfect opening, and installed that air gap just the way it should be.
Once everything was fitted, we sealed the sink with clear silicone caulking for a watertight, professional finish. The whole project wrapped up in just a couple of hours, start to shine.

While connecting the new faucet, we took a peek under the sink — because that’s where the real story often hides. The angle stops (the small shutoff valves under the sink) had clearly seen better days.
