This West Sacramento homeowner wasn’t dealing with a leak or a remodel — they just wanted their kitchen to feel fresh again. The old sink and faucet worked fine, but after years of use, they were ready for an upgrade that looked as good as it functioned.
Out with the Old, In with the Sleek and Shiny
The homeowner had already picked out their new setup — a Kohler Verse double-bowl, top-mount stainless steel sink, and a matching Kohler Vibrant Stainless pull-down faucet. Sleek. Clean. Timeless.
It was a like-for-like replacement, so no countertop modifications were needed — but there was one little surprise: the new sink didn’t come with a pre-cut hole for the dishwasher air gap.
No problem. Our team grabbed the right metal drill bit, carefully bored a smooth, perfect opening, and installed that air gap just the way it should be.
Once everything was fitted, we sealed the sink with clear silicone caulking for a watertight, professional finish. The whole project wrapped up in just a couple of hours, start to shine.
